OUR MAN IN HAVANA (DIALOGUE BETWEEN CAPTAIN SEGURA AND MR. WORMOLD)
The night was cold in the colonial Havana, no one would have thought that these two strange human beings would be in the same place and the same time but for incredible circumstances happened like that.
Mr. Wormold went in to the bar at 9 p.m., he was never as punctual as now, he couldn´t missed his appointment. In this place was Captain Segura, he seemed to be a lot of excited:
C.S: Hello Mrs. Wormold, you are always so punctual.
Mr. Wormold: What is too important? Or better, would it have some important between us?
C.S: First I must say sorry! I´ve been drinking a lot because I have an enormous happiness that I can´t hide no more. Please, I ask you that you don´t think of me terrible things, I hope that you can understand me.
Mr. Wormold: You are frightening me, never mind what would be, only tell me it!!
C.S: I can´t help falling in love with his daughter.
Mr. Wormold: What senseless words are you saying?
C.S: I need her youth, I need her innocence, I´m not just using her, I really love her!
Mr. Wormold: You are crazy if you believe that I would let that kind of relationship. My daughter mustn´t waste time with people like you.
C.S: I thought that I would talk you into it but I see that is an impossible mission!
Mr. Wormold: My daughter isn´t of the sort the women that you like visiting, she deserves a good man, a man with good principles, a respectable man, obviously you are none of them.
C.S: I can be drunk but I am not foolish, I know that you won´t get on with me but I am trying to be a reasonable person with you, you would obtain a lot of favours.
Mr. Wormold: I only ask of you that you get away of her, I´m her father so I must say you this things.
C.S: I must say you something too, I will never dump her so ask me the God himself.
